Real Madrid vs Celta Vigo Live Stream Free #RMACEL – Toni Kroos remains out long term for the time being, while Ferland Mendy is not ready to return either. Luka Modric could return, however, in what is a huge boost for Real Madrid heading into this one.
Nacho Fernandez remains a doubt, but could be fit to play. Though, Real Madrid kept their first clean sheet of the season last time out with David Alaba and Eder Militao as the centre-back pairing, so Carlo Ancelotti could opt to stay as he is, but bring the now fully fit Marcelo in to left-back.
Vinicius Junior failed to build on his two goals in two games last time out, but he should keep his place in the front line ahead of the misfiring Eden Hazard, though he is one of the players returning as late as Friday from international duty, so his starting spot could be in doubt.
Casemiro and Eder Militao make up those late returners, and so it is worth keeping in mind here, though the suggestion is that they will still play.
Kevin Vazquez is close to returning following a fractured jaw, while Jose Manuel Fontán is on his way back from a hamstring injury and could be in contention.
Miguel Baeza is a doubt with an ankle injury, but again could return.
Jeison Murillo was brought on for Joseph Aidoo last time out and could well keep his place at the back here.
Real Madrid vs Celta Vigo Live Stream Free #RMACEL – Real Madrid have put together a very solid start, matching the best points total in La Liga with seven to their name.
Last time out, Los Blancos dominated Real Betis, but didn’t create enough clear-cut chances. Still, a fine finish from the returning Dani Carvajal, who had been out for well over 100 days with injury, allowed Real Madrid to control the clash and pick up three points with a professional display.
That’s what Carlo Ancelotti will want to see more of having conceded three against Levante in the previous week, and a more settled backline will help that. Ancelotti now has Carvajal and Marcelo back, which should mean more consistent selection in the back four.
Gareth Bale also continued his fine form during the international break, scoring a hat-trick for Wales, and Real Madrid will be delighted to get the Welshman back with confidence in his veins.
In contrast, it has been a very disappointing start to the season for Celta, who have picked up just one point from their first three games despite coming into this season with confidence following a fine finish to last term.
They lost by one goal again last time out, and managed more than twice as many shots as Athletic Club. Quite simply, Chacho Caudet’s men have to be more clinical, and there is no reason for them not to be given they have the likes of Iago Aspas, Santi Mina and Denis Suarez in their ranks.
Celta have a squad good enough to give any side a headache in La Liga, but based on what we have seen so far, this looks like being a comfortable home win in what is Real Madrid’s first game at Santiago Bernabeu for more than a year.
The works on the stadium are still very much in progress, and you might notice the missing roof, but it is now safe to play at the famous old ground. Real Madrid vs Celta Vigo Live Stream Free #RMACEL.
